Religion in healthcare is a contentious topic amongst professionals and the general population, and is close to everyone's hearts, whether you identify with a particular religion or do not.Â
Below we have a personal experience that is close to my heart, and an essay that was inspired by this.

With the current movement in society for a transformation for a better world, many issues have risen up: Black Lives Matter, Climate Crisis, etc.
When comparing this issue, it is equal to these massive issues when thinking on how our society acts towards each other.
A First World country is first in multiculturalism, and is (or should be) a completely mulitcultural society.
This is comparatively a small action that needs to be implemented, however it is a powerful move, and meets powerful resistance. Why? It makes little logical sense.
Subtextual, indiscreet, and indirect discrimination is a subliminal message in our minds, and shapes people to act in an unequal way.
This Covid situation has shown humans and societies to be highly adaptable - to change our behaviour, our perceptions, our actions.
This is an half-a-year old essay, and considering the fast pace of change, one would expect this situation to have changed. It has not yet, however, when creating a society we all wish to liv in, this is an issue that we must remember to put in place with logistics in the NHS.
